H-1B Visa Fees – A Thoughtful Approach

H-1B Visas – A Thoughtful Approach

Mike Green is an attendee at Camp Kotok and thoughtful analyst. His piece on President Trump’s $100,000 visa fee is well worth a serious read. Green’s proposal for a Dutch auction system is one I support, and his criticism of the Biden-era cheapening of visas is fair game for serious discussion.

What Mike has demonstrated in his Substack commentary is how policy lurched from one extreme under Biden to the other extreme under Trump. Mike has proposed the creation of a thoughtful middle approach with a market-oriented pricing mechanism and segmentation to allow critical needs to be fulfilled.
